Multiframe is a system for managing thin clients, and using old PCs as thin clients, allowing easy administration from a simple web interface.
Multiframe is now free software and licensed under GPL v3.

Key features
- Supports the following terminal server protocols:
- RDP
- NX
- X11
- 3270 / 5250
- ICA (client package from Citrix must be installed by administrator and is not included)
- Deploys a small, specially tailored Linux-based distribution to the clients.
- Installation to disk or run from memory (does not touch existing OS).
- Offers both compressed and non-compressed software images.
- The administrative interface lets you:
- Organize and name your clients.
- Configure and control each client separately or on the parent level (network or root).
- Easily handle configuration exceptions by using conditional profiles.
- Create and configure terminal server sessions.
- Create schedules to control your clients.

2009-03-19 Multiframe 5.0.2 is relased
New in this release
- Kernel updated to 2.6.28, which adds better support for network cards in newer PCs, such as the Intel e1000e
- Adds support for using the binary X drivers from ATI and NVIDIA
- Adds support for 11.0 of the ICA client
- Adds support for using Phillips SpeechMike in the ICA client
- Minor bug fixes

2009-01-16 Multiframe 5.0.1 is relased
This is a pure bugfix release, as 5.0.0 had some problems with the ICA packages. Please upgrade if you are using ICA and are experiencing any problems.
2008-11-20 Multiframe 5.0 is out and open
Multiframe 5.0 is now out, and one of the major features of this release is that Multiframe is now open source. Please head down to the Get Multiframe section and start exploring!

- rom-o-matic.net is an alternative if the client doesnt PXE-boot and memory stick and CDROM is not an option. E.g. creating a bootable PXE-floppy disk for the network card.
